Our Sport Hiking Week package

As we want you to enjoy your sport hiking week at the Schüchtermann-Klinik in the most com-fortable environment, you will stay in the exclusive guest house "Heinrich Schüchtermann".

The guest house "Heinrich Schüchtermann" with 4-star rating offers a convenient atmosphere that will make you feel comfortable right from the beginning. You will enjoy full board accommo-dation throughout the week. Meals are served in the adjacent Niermann’s Restaurant. When-ever a full-day hike is scheduled, you will be given a delicious and balanced packed lunch.

We want you to start your sport hiking week in a relaxed and convenient fashion - so arrivals are on Sundays.
This gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the town and discover its attractions before the activities start on Monday.

Your Sport Hiking Week package comprises:

- Guided and accompanied hiking tours with different lengths and difficulty profiles
- Introduction to Nordic Walking and subsequent tour
- Geocaching excursions (provided with the latest navigation devices)
- Active elements with a focus on hiking

The practical elements are based on theoretical components, which we convey to you with a well-measured amount of information on the following particulars:

- General physical endurance and fitness
- Handling of special pulse monitors
- Theoretical information on navigation with GPS devices
- Practical work with map and compass
- Interactive nutrition balance examination
- Physical activity

Throughout the week we would like you to take "snapshots" of your impressions and experi-ences under the motto "Conquer your weaker self" and to hand your best photos in, as we will award prizes.

Before you will leave on Saturday, top the hiking week off by having dinner together with the other participants in a cosy atmosphere; at this occasion the best photos will be awarded a prize.
