Who we are –
The Schüchtermann-Klinik

The Schüchtermann-Klinik is one of the most modern cardiac centres in Germany. Our entire team of medical specialists, nursing staff as well as administrative and technology experts has set itself the goal of providing over 10,000 patients a year with optimum care. This requires not only profound specialist knowledge and many years of experience, but also a good deal of empathy. Because we want to treat our patients not only in accordance with state-of-the-art and recognised methods, but also give them the feeling that they are in good hands in every respect.

Cardiovascular diseases can have many causes. Determining and treating these is our
task. The Schüchtermann-Klinik is an integrated cardiac centre with 391 beds where people are cared for extensively and seamlessly – from prevention, through diagnosis and therapy, to rehabilitation.

We place great emphasis on modern yet reliable diagnostic and treatment procedures. New scientific findings and technological developments are evaluated by our experienced specialists and integrated into our treatment concepts. This fact, as well as the constant INTERDISCIPLINARY EXCHANGES within and outside the clinic, help us to develop optimum solutions for our patients.

But medical progress alone does not automatically result in good care. At the Schüchtermann-Klinik, care with humanity, “care with a heart”, plays a very important role. Attention and understanding are important prerequisites for recovery in addition to the medical devices. Top marks in both internal and external surveys in the categories of quality of nursing care or PATIENT SATISFACTION confirm that we are on the right track in this respect. In addition, we have an extensive and effective QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, with which the reliability of all processes is monitored and maintained.

Our highly qualified employees working in the specialist medical departments and the organisational areas of the Schüchtermann-Klinik pursue one aim in this way: giving back our patients the greatest possible degree of independence.
