During your stay at the Schüchtermann-Klinik you can expect to find a wide range of services. If we can make your stay with us even more pleasant, please do not hesitate to contact us.
At first sight many clinics are difficult to find your way around. In order that you know from the start where your admission ward is, please report to the reception. Our reception service will take over your luggage and escort you to the ward where you are expected.
Books and Magazines
If you would like to take time to read a good book, please take a look at our library on the ground floor. Newspapers and magazines can be obtained in the cafeteria right next door. Your favourite magazine is not available? We will be pleased to order it for you – simply contact us.
If you require an iron and ironing board, please contact the women on the ward. The use of your own irons, immersion boiling devices and coffee machines in the rooms is prohibited.
If you feel the need to go to the hairdresser during your stay, you can use the hairdressing salon in the immediate vicinity of the clinic.
If you wish to receive foot care treatment while you stay at our hospital, we will help you to make an appointment with a chiropodist practice nearby. If required, you may also make an appointment with the chiropodist to come to our hospital.
In your own room and in the public area of the cafeteria you can use our free Wi-Fi service. Registration at reception is required for this. There you will receive your personal access data and can then log in to the Wi-Fi network at any time with your own laptop, tablet or smartphone.
All rehabilitation patients and their family members who stay the night in our apartments, rooms or suites receive a spa card. With the spa card you can use several attractions or take part in activities in Bad Rothenfelde at a reduced price. For further information you are welcome to visit the Internet site of the municipality of BAD ROTHENFELDE.
A private telephone can be activated in all patients’ rooms. During the admission procedure you will be asked whether you wish to use this service. For technical reasons the use of mobile phones within the hospital is not allowed.
We offer an internal laundry service. Please ask the ward staff for further particulars.
Cases of theft also repeatedly occur at clinics. We therefore recommend:
- do not bring sizeable sums of money or valuables with you to the clinic if possible, or hand them in to the Patient Administration Department for safekeeping!
- never leave handbags or valuables unattended!
- report every theft to the clinic administration or police!
The clinic is only liable for valuables that you have handed in at reception for safekeeping
