The hospital’s own laboratory is also connected to the department of anaesthesia. Here, the medical laboratory assistants carry out all common laboratory tests for the entire facility using state-of-the-art analytical equipment and procedures.

COOPERATION

When it comes to transfusion, the Schüchtermann-Klinik’s laboratory works closely with the central blood donation service run by the German Red Cross in Springe. Special laboratory analysis as well as microbiological examinations are commissioned from a large laboratory in Georgsmarienhütte.
